Nice park with lots of character, there was some live music when I was there. Nice to just sit and enjoy people watching cause you’ll meet some curious folks.
Really nice live music that happened here one night (for a festival). Love the atmosphere and the music. People were listening, some dancing, but all peaceful.
One of the smallest Park in San Francisco. Right in Chinatown and it’s a popular place for Chinese seniors (almost everyone looks 70+) to enjoy their time, play cards and hang out. There’s also a small playground for children. It might not be a really beautiful park but I’m sure it means a lot to the locals. Nice view of the transamerica pyramid from there. Lots of restaurants in the area as well.
Came back here for the first time in well over a decade and some things never change (in a good way)! The real heart and community of Chinatown is at display here with all the elders playing cards while the kids play at the play structure. Great place to chill and catch your breath if you’re visiting and exploring SF
Kinda of a dirty park with many Chinese elders play cards here. Not a tourist stop🤣 …
Looked like a lot of residents went there with thier families. The air around it smelled nice due to the restaurants in the area. Like all of San Francisco, there where it's share of homeless hanging around.
Love this park, right in the heart of Chinatown. They have a lot of benches to sit on and grub.
Very Chinese :-)
We were lucky enough to be here on a day with a trad Chinese group along with a singer... not my usual cup of tea... but awesome.
Loads of locals playing cards and well worth a visit... the image is one street over unfortunately
